The handles on the new Master Turner Combi M are optimized so that there are more handles and they lie flat under the Master Turner. At the hip and shoulder grips there are 2 grips from the edge and towards the middle. Using the inner handle compensates for low lifting height.
If the outer grip is used at the shoulder and the inner at the hip, the ceiling lift makes the extra rotation at the hip which is nice when positioned on the side.
The handles at the head end can be used in combination with the ceiling lift to help the user to sit on the edge of the bed.
The sweat-transporting padding reduces heat accumulation and thus minimizes the risk of pressure ulcers.

Master Turner Medium is recommended for users with incontinence challenges who have function in the legs but need to reduce friction under the upper body to promote turning, mobilization, moving in and out of bed as well as preventing shear. Relocation techniques, where the combination of Master Turner and ceiling / floor lift is used, reduce staff workload and make relocations comfortable and gentle for the user.
